To create an advertiser in Search Ads 360, you need Agency Manager Permission to create an advertiser in the campaign manager & add it in Search Ads 360.
In Campaign Manager, you should have the Agency Admin role in your user profile. It’s important to note that if your Google account has multiple user profiles in Campaign Manager, you won’t be able to create an advertiser in Search Ads 360, even if your Campaign Manager profiles have the right roles.

- In Search Ads 360, navigate to your agency.
- Click on the ▼ at the end of the navigation bar to see the navigation options.
- In the Agency list, select the agency you want to work with. You can search for it by name or scroll through the list.
- Click Apply or press the Enter key. This will take you to the agency page.
- Above the reporting table, click +Add.
- Under Campaign Manager advertiser, click “Select advertiser ▼” and then choose “New CM advertiser.”
- Sign in to Campaign Manager 360 (only Agency Admins in Campaign Manager 360 can create advertisers).
- In Campaign Manager 360, click “All advertisers” in the navigation bar, then select “New.”
- Provide a name for the Advertiser and configure the settings as needed.
- Click Save in Campaign Manager 360.
- Now, complete the steps to add this advertiser in Search Ads 360.
When adding a Campaign Manager 360 advertiser to Search Ads 360, remember that the settings, such as the advertiser name and currency, will match those in Campaign Manager 360. You can change these settings, but it’s advisable to use the same currency as in Campaign Manager 360. Note that once you link these advertisers, you can’t change the currency setting or break the link entirely.
Add Created Advertiser in Search Ads 360
To add the advertiser in Search Ads 360, make sure it’s already created in Campaign Manager 360 and follow these steps:
- Navigate to your agency in Search Ads 360 as previously mentioned.
- Above the reporting table, click +Add.
- Under Campaign Manager advertiser, click “Select advertiser ▼.”
- Choose the name of the advertiser from the list. If you can’t find it, possible reasons are listed to help you troubleshoot.
- Optionally, type a name for the advertiser in Search Ads 360 and select the same currency as in Campaign Manager 360.
- If the advertiser uses Google Analytics tags for conversion tracking, toggle the switch to link a Google Analytics account.
- You can also grant access to Google sales and support representatives for read-only access to your Google Ads-related data.
- Click Save.
Remember that once the link is established between Search Ads 360 and Campaign Manager 360 advertisers, you can only partially break the link.
To ensure that your Campaign Manager 360 reports align with your Search Ads 360 reports, maintain a consistent currency throughout.
